Pendleton 1910 12 Year Old Canadian Rye Whiskey was initially crafted to celebrate the rodeo's 100th anniversary. The whiskey has made from a mash bill composed of 100% rye grains, which are mashed, fermented, and distilled in Canada. It is an oak-barrel aged a minimum of 12 years. Following distillation, the whiskey has brought to Hood River Distillers in Oregon, which finishes and the whiskey in its own casks before bottling it at 80 proof.
Pendleton 1910 Rye Whiskey features round, rich notes of tobacco, charred oak, and butterscotch with a spicy rye kick and peppery heat. It is rounded out by the smoothness of maple and sweet cherry to provide a weighty and balanced yet sophisticated flavor profile.
On the nose, it has a well rounded and full-bodied aroma with nutmeg, cloves, and hints of dried pineapple. The palate offers muted tropical notes, apples, and dried cherries with nutty toffee undertones. The finish is medium-dry with lingering tart cherry. Enjoy!
